Sky contract and moving house
I’m moving out of my house next week and am with Sky but not in a fixed contract. I’m having to move in with family temporarily until my new house is ready so I phoned to cancel Sky. They told me that rather than cancelling they can get my tv bill down to £25 month if I sign to an 18 month contract and when I do move into…

Amazon Prime Video subscription
I have been given conflicting advice by Amazon customer services on Amazon Prime Video subscription. Can someone clarify whether it is possible to take out a Prime Video subscription as well as the general Amazon Prime subscription? I find I'm spending a lot in lockdown, renting at least two films per week. I've heard that…

Netflix complaint procedure
Netflix allows for the creation of 2 or more accounts using the same credit card without ANY checks or alerts! I created an account. 7 days later, on another device at home, I reactivate an account which was dormant, now this is very important: BOTH accounts have exactly the SAME home address and credit card. OK, I should…

Disney plus - free for 13 days on sky q
I added Disney plus to sky package and noticed that if you contact sky within 14 days of upgrading then you can use the cooling off period and cancel without charge! Good if you just wanted it for Easter holiday! Or a birthday or to watch something in particular (like Hamilton Broadway show or ‘Soul’) thought I’d share :)

Best TV (and remote) for arthritic hands?
My 97-year-old mother just bought a JVC TV and the remote is small and too fiddly for easy use; also today it broke, and she's getting a refund. Any suggestions for alternatives, please? It would be nice if it was a decent sized screen (last was 43") and had simple access to iPlayer etc. Many thanks

Need a TV for the kitchen... but which one?
I haven't bought a TV in about 10 years so have very little idea what's possible in a modern 'smart' TV. Perhaps someone here can help. It would be used for watching TV off various websites other than youtube/netflix, so needs to have good browser compatibility and speed. Still supporting Flash might be an advantage here.…

Being taken to court - CAPITA false claims
I'm being taken to court in January due to not paying for a TV licence, and I don't know what to do next. At the start of the year an enforcement officer came to my door, normally I'd close the door on them but he'd just woken me up and due to neurological disabilities I wasn't thinking straight. As far as I was aware I…

About cost (Gig bytes on internet) of netflix - cannot ask netflix if not a member!!
There is so much 'over simplification' of how Netflix does it's television... Is their content streamed as DVB-T2 or similar?? search for DVB-T2 on wikipedia If it is streamed in the same way as ytube, surely there would be problems if you have a very low download cap... Are there any figures about the amout of data…
