Apple TV Plus customers who've benefitted from a free subscription for more than a year will have to pay £4.99/mth to use the service from tomorrow (1 July) - and you'll be automatically opted into the paid-for subscription, although you can cancel penalty-free at any point.

Not sure what the news is here, they tell you that you will have to pay a subscription once the year is up when they give it to you at the start. I just cancelled mine from the outset because there is nothing on Apple TV that I would want to watch.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.0
