Anyone else find Netflix boring? I do, hardly any decent new horror movies, Netflix seems to not add any new ones on, it's always the same rubbish horrors all the time! I am thinking of cancelling it as I get it with my Sky package.

Not really, how many "decent new horror films" do BBC put out in any year? By comparison I'd argue Netflix do rather well.
The challenge I find more is finding content I want to watch as its algorithms presents such a small amount of the total and if you watch a fair amount of TV those will all be exhausted but the system has much more content thats just more difficult to get to (though various online guides help).
Its often easier to just be presented with X number of live options and choose one (even if none are new horror films let alone a decent one.2 -

I've found that it's better to give up streaming subscriptions and return after a year or so off. By then a lot of ne conrtent will have been addedI have just returned to Netflix after over two years break. during which time two new series of The Crown amomng othershave been added, plus new filmsOnce I've seen all I want I'll cancel and move over to Amazon again

You can get both Shudder and Arrow Video for the cost of the mid-tier Netflix package. Both services are dedicated to horror and cult movies and TV shows - Arrow tends to lean towards older stuff (the type of thing it releases on Blu-Ray), Shudder has a lot more newer and obscure content.
