If you've cancelled Sky or Virgin for Netflix, Disney+ and Prime, but still want a bundle of live rolling news channels, I've been using a very neat streaming news service called Newsplayer+ www.newsplayerplus.com  Got live news from around the world. They've got a 7 days free offer on - no requirement to add credit card details upfront.  The charge is then £3.99 per month or works out £2.50 per month if you sign up for a year.  I got it working on my Fire stick and phone.

Most of the channels seem to be on Youtube. I guess if news is your thing it might be good to have it on a device.

*Update.  We been regularly using Newsplayer+ for a good few months now. It's definitely aimed at news junkies as they have loads of English language world news channels.   We're hooked!

If you're got the time and energy yes you can go hunting for most of the channels somewhere on the web - but they might not be legal or reliable feeds and they will most likely be riddled with ads (YouTube ) or viruses.  What we like is the simplicity of having these channels in the same app you can swipe through them until you get to a story you're interested in.
