Hard wearing boots/shoes

Resume Personal Training or not?
I was a regular gym member from 2017 until 2020 and was the client of a personal trainer during this time. In March 2020 I started working out in my multi gym at home due to covid until September 2021. I have recently started using the gym again. The personal trainer I used for years no longer works there (he did inform…

I need a new backpack to run in to carry water, snacks, phone, waterproofs etc. I usually just use my normal walkers rucksack but think its time to invest in a proper running one as I'm hoping it would be more comfortable. Just been doing 10km and half marathons till now but aiming on…

Any current hockey umpires out there?
This isn't a money saving question - I just hope somebody can answer a couple of questions or point me in the right direction. Just as background, I am a former keen hockey player but haven't played for 30 years and haven't been involved with a club in all that time, although I am still an avid viewer of hockey whenever…

Running armband
I have an old I phone 5s. I bought a cheap armband of Ebay but it not very good. The Velcro isn't very strong so the strap keeps detaching and you have to stop to adjust it. I looked at running belts but I use wired headphones and the cable isn't that long. Any recommendations.

Chin up bar and plan - will this work
Apologies for a long post. When coming back from serious shoulder injury I managed to do press ups by doing them against the wall and then when I could I do 100 (of very easy press ups) then lower the level until I can now do about 20 normal press ups. Not amazing but considering my injuries I am pleased. Anyway for chin…

Personal trainer guilt of spending money
During lockdown three I became totally demotivated to do any form of exercise. Realising I needed to snap out of it and get my fitness back I decided to hire a personal trainer. This was only ever meant to be a short term thing to get my routine back and learn some new techniques. I was only going to do around 8 sessions…
