Cider Online
I have no connection with this company but just wanted to highlight the fact that they're happy to send their product abroad - in my case to Ireland. They're a small West Country cider farm making superb scrumpy available in 5,10 and 20 litre boxes. The perfect way to enjoy scrumpy when you're self-isolating as we are.…

Extended Warranty: Added Care from John Lewis
We are buying several new appliances (oven, hob, fridge, freezer, etc) and John Lewis offers a five year extended warranty called 'Added Care'. We usually avoid extended warranties, because they're not good value for money, but we were wondering if the 'Added Care' that John Lewis offers may be the exception to the rule?…

Amazon Prime membership
Does anyone know round here when the best time usually is to sign up for Amazon Prime? £79 is a bit steep to me. Admittedly I did just cream £26 off them by signing up to their platinum credit card for a £20 gift card and then sniping a £6 bonus for topping up my amazon account with £80. So, I suppose If I just swallow it…

Asda didn’t deliver any substitutions!
Placed an online ASDA groceries order as an emergency while me and my 5 children are in isolation awaiting the results for coronavirus. One essential item was cigarettes for me and my partner (as you can imagine the stress in isolation with children lol). We’ve always been given substitutions when our usual brand is out of…

Wilko & Love to shop vouchers
I had £100 in Love to shop vouchers for Xmas. I wanted to use them all in Wilko's to buy paint etc for decorating. The lady on the till wouldn't accept any of them unless the total came to the exact amount. Example: I would have to buy something for exactly £10 to use one voucher and so on. I bought three pots of paint and…

Unsolicited Nectar card - data breach?
I've received a Nectar card in a New Account envelope to a property I own but don't live in, and have never applied for a Nectar card. I have no interest in having one. Nectar Points missing
After some advice here My father who is nearly 84 years old has been shopping at Sainsburys for 17 years and had built up his nectar points, now 76000 points have gone missing. We know he had 50000 points a couple of years ago but on Jan 29 we discovered the missing points when he bought a £30 printer at Argos using his…
