Confused about ISA
Hi, I have an ISA with Standard life that I've been putting money into for over a year. I was looking to switch to one with a higher rate of interest within the next week or so. Stupidly I forgot to switch off the automatic payments from my current account and it paid in £100 today. Does this mean that I can't switch to…

Joint Savings Accounts - is such a thing possible?
Have set up my daughter's CTF and will be saving regularly into it to give her a lump sum when she turns 18. However, both me and my girlfriend don't want to dump all our savings for her in a CTF as there's no control over how the money's used - if she wants to throw it all away then there's nothing we can do to stop her.…

Is it worth investing small amounts?
Until recently I didn't know anything about investing, and I've been trying to get my head round all the terminology and principles, and while I know a lot more than I did a month ago, there's still lots I don't get. But I don't really want that to stop me. I'd rather make a start and then learn more as I go along, and I'm…
