Children saving

My child is 10yrs old he's not got over £1000.00 in savings but I don't think he's getting very good interest. Where is the best place for a child to save ? at the moment its in a childs santander bank account.

    Try this part of the MoneySavingExpert site, it details quite a few children saving options, including a regular saver paying 6% and a 5yr fixed rate savings paying 4.25% :j
