The neighbour's cat - quandary
We recently moved to a new build and one night when we came home, a rather friendly cat appeared and started meowing. He/she was very affectionate and we stroked it. We went in and thought nothing more about it. A few nights later at 10pm, we heard the cat meowing at our door. It didn't come in but we stroked it (my…

the Jack Russell hop
my 5 year old jack russell who was a rescue suffers from luxating patella. the vet tells me it is common in jack russell's and that at the moment it isnt anything to be worried about, however he did say that as she gets older arthritis may be a problem or even surgery on the patella. so i'm interested in getting her on…

Would this worry you?
Came across an advert for someone selling a puppy on face book and they want a copy of your passport. I did warn people that it might be a scam, but he said its to prove that his re homed the dog if they dont change the microchip. I dont want a dog already got one, but i'd be wary of identity theft.

Pet insurance by Equine and Livestock, any good for a cat?
Hello, Need to renew my cat's insurance (current insurer just keeps increasing!!). He is getting old, so a few companies do no longer seem to insure him as he is over 10, but a very healthy boy. Just did a comparison and the cheapest and best cover seems to be pet-insurance.co.uk, which is the trading name of E&L, Equine…

Cats not eating - upset by one of them being ill?
Hello. I hope you can help. My lovely placid, greedy, loving Milo has been diagnosed with liver cancer plus either bowel or pancreatic cancer. While he has been losing weight for a while we assumed that it was because the neighbours had moved out (and he wasn't getting getting double fed - he really was very greedy). We…

Poor design of cat flap
We have just fitted a replacement PetSafe 300 series cat flap in our conservatory - the design appears flawed in that the outside of the mechanism has a cut out - directly over the red knob - which rain will obviously enter the flap through which will leave a pool of water on the floor - could someone who has one - please…

Feliway
We need to get some Feliway refills before Nov 5th and see that Mr Pets appears to be the cheapest available in UK (£14.40) ? I also see that other sites mention that OLD refills are only compatible with OLD diffusers, which implies that they have changed them ? Could someone please confirm whether we need diffusers as…

Cone after spaying
Just wondered if anyone could share their experiences on the dreaded cone after spaying? I have a 6 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy who was spayed last Monday. She was already on her third cone after destroying the first two before our check up last Thursday. We have since had to cover any excess plastic in…

Sainsbury's Basic Cat Litter - No More?
Hi all Just went to my big Sainsbury's and the section where they had the basic cat litter has now been replaced with a different, much more expensive, type of cat litter. No other space for it. Had a quick look online and although no mention of them stopping it, online it says product unavailable. Anyone know if they've…

I'm looking for advice here, as I would like to know if I'm the one in the wrong... A few months ago my pedigree stud dog was not getting on very well with having my !!!!!es in the home. At the same time my friend, who has no money said she was looking to get another dog. She liked my dog and I thought it would be nice for…

Fully tracked dog walking service at Tailster.com
Hey, Thought this would be useful - I was always wondering whether my dog walker was turning up at the right time when i was away at work, and also whether he wasn't just sitting there with his feet up, having taken my cash. I've used tailster.com for boarding when I went away and the service was pretty great, they've now…
