Anyone else got a cat who steals?
I got a rescue kitty 3 months ago and she's absolutely perfect in every way except she steals stuff, found a chicken breast on my bedroom floor this morning that I'd left out to defrost :rotfl:
She's a menace! Socks, pens, makeup brushes, you name it she steals it.

When a child we had one cat who came home with someone's uncooked pork fillet and a whole salmon. No doubt someone left their kitchen windows open and the food out.
Another came over the wall with a dead rabbit, it had pellets so shot first. Turned out a neighbour went hunting and had it hanging in the yard wall, plus a lurcher in the yard. So cat climbed part way down the wall unhooked the rabbit and dragged it back up. All with the hunting dog in the yard.0 -

She's wonderful, got her from the rescue centre just before Christmas. Will try and post a picture later.
I'm sure I'm going to find a den somewhere in my house with all her stolen goods though. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

I have to put my glasses in the top drawer of my bedside when I take them off at night as my beautiful grandkitten, who lives with me, steals them while I'm asleep and runs off and hides them if I leave them on the top2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

Lovely photos. Hedwig is just like my Sootz, she has the few white hairs on her chest too, you can't beat a shiny black cat for glamour!
My newest addition steals straws out of drinks then takes them all upstairs to my bedroom, I have six in there today. He's a rescue too, we got him just after christmas.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Newton has a couple of white chest hairs too, if it wasn't for the size difference my two would be very hard to tell apart. They're even similar in temperament. Both very chilled and friendly. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
