Hi,

Has anybody used either the !!!! Vet or Glasgow Vet School? Was wondering how much they cost to have an animal seen? Is it only referrals from vets within the community they take or can they take clients off their own back?

Call it the Edinburgh Royal Vet School and people will know what you mean.

The first link above won't work as the forum has replaced d-i-c-k with !!!! in it. I tried making a t-i-n-y-u-r-l of it, but the forum doesn't allow those either!

The page does read like a wind-up though. It's the D i c k vet on the Easter Bush campus. :rotfl:

Glasgow vet school are excellent and do accept self referral though I think you get seen quicker if a local vet refers.

The price varies by specialist, heart specialist outpatient visit was £300 including test (heart scan and ECG), inpatient for spinal surgery and 2 week stay including medication, walks and therapy (physio and psychotherapy to cope with being away from her family) was £5500. This was for a toy breed dog.
