Unopened/unused Masivet for dogs not able to be returned to vets for use by other dog(s) with relevant mast cell tumour cancer. Anyone know of a legitimate solution so that medication not wasted - cost in excess of £200 for one month supply and seems such a waste when it could help someone with expensive cost of treatment.

you could ask Oldies Club if they can use it

or Many tears Rescue

I know it seems such a waste, but I think you will find its illegal to pass on prescription only medication.0

Thank you for your responses - very much appreciated. I appreciate that there may be legal aspects to donating unused medication however I will be guided by the advice of the professionals at the rescue centres, details provided. I am sure a vet will know the best approach if it is at all possible to gift the medication. Kind regards xx0

That's the best thing to do. I'm sure the rescue centres vets will advise you.0
