I just want to record the fact that my very-much-loved terrier-type mongrel is 11 years old today!
Miss Vivian LEIGH Terrier (actually christened Leigh by Hearing Dogs, but she is non-working) has recently been having Piriton on advice of the vet for a snuffle-y allergy. As a first-line action to improve this, I've changed her food to Oscar Sensitive, a potato and fish based hypoallergenic dry food which she absolutely loves! Her snuffling has improved and she has been off Piriton for a day. It's expensive, but she is only 15kg, so only has 200g a day, and it's worth it for her to be so happy.
She loves her two walks a day and her joints seem really good for her age. At the weekends, she loves a longer walk around the river and the canal, or a trip to the seaside for a bounce in the waves.
Happy birthday Leigh! (77 in human years)

How much would I like to do pictures, calicocat? I just don't seem to be able to reduce the pictures to a small enough size. Would love to upload her in her Christmas dress, or the happy picture of her at the groomer with her eyes so wide, a smile, her tongue hanging out. Such lovely pictures.“And all shall be well. Joly, the older (by 6 months) of my two cavaliers, is 13 at the end of the month and has greatly benefited from Lintbell's Yumove tablets , after becoming quite stiff about two years ago.He loves them so much that, most mornings, he refuses to go out until he's been given one.0

Thank you Teddy and Donna, now four days off Piriton, and she so loves her food. In fact, there are a few bits of the previous food mixed in (for gradual change over) and she now picks those out and leaves them beside her bowl, they're so funny, aren't they?
I must apologise because my post may have seemed like an advertisement, it wasn't meant to be, just wanted to share my delight. Other very good foods are available.
