It is for a reasonably small amount but we thought it was all paid up to date as per bills sent at that time. Can they come back for more three years later? Will this keep happening?? I thought this chapter in my life…

Just had our bank statement arrive and noticed that £12 has been taken out by SAT TV by DD. We have not authorised this. We don't have Sky either, haven't for over 10 years now. Went to the bank and because the DD was on 1st March and its now 8th March they say they can't do anything. Our bank only opens twice a week and…

My bank has messed up my mortgage and offered me compensation.
My bank has messed up my mortgage and offered me compensation. How do I know how much to ask them for? they said " how about £250" They approved a mortgage and just 2 day prior to completion said I couldn't use the gift of equity as a deposit ( previously agreed) and I would need to come up with 16000 What do you think ?

Having not even considered that I'd been sold such a product and that the mortgage was paid off some 8 years ago, I had previously dismissed any action but of…
