Trying to buy a house - estate agents
Are things done differently here than they are in England? Or have I just landed myself with the worlds laziest estate agent? I put forward an offer on Monday for a property that's been on the market for nearly 15 months - I've had no news. I've chased daily and I'm clearly just pi**ing them off now, they keep telling me…

How much to insulate loft in house?
I know it's possible to get a grant of £150 to help towards the cost of insulating the loft of a house. The recipient has to pay the additional. If simply purchasing the loft insulation and installing the rolls oneself, how much do you think the materials would cost to insulate the loft of a small terraced house? Thanks

Taxing a Used Car
Hi, With the fairly recent changes to car tax here I wanted to check something. We are collecting a new to us used car this week. condensation in roof space
Meant to post this over the winter but here goes ... Our roofspace/attic was insulated about a year ago along with the loft door. Over the winter we noticed that all the stuff up in the loft was wet and that there was condensation coming off the underside of the felt of the roof. I would imagine this is due to there being…

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help, I was at Boucher retail park on Sunday and got a parking charge of £60 (paid within 14 days) rising to £90 if not. Seems to have been a huge jump in the number of people killed on our roads here in Northern Ireland in the last few weeks... What the heck is going on? So Queen's University Belfast is cutting 236 jobs and 290 student places due to a funding reduction. Apparently UU are in the process of assessing their cuts and are also expecting job and student losses. Currently I believe the Fees are £3000/year.Is it time to raise them.... maybe £5000 per year? and keep the places?…
