Larne to Blackpool (4 Day break)

Just been asked by a family member how to do this. I'm totally at a loss, they haven't a car and there are no longer any flights from Belfast to Blackpool.

So far I can think of Larne to Cairnryan (cheaper than the overnight Belfast to Liverpool) but then I run out of ideas...I've always flown to where I was going or took the ferry in my own car.

How the blazes would you get from Cairnryan to Blackpool...this is one of those cases where Google falls down if you don't know the correct phrases to use.

Ulsterbus used to do a Belfast/Blackpool service, but it's years since I used it. Easyjet to Liverpool then train to Blackpool is another option.Travel Solutions at Castlereagh might be worth a ring.

Says on Blackpool airport website they fly Belfast to Blackpool.

Fly to Liverpool & get a train. The train takes less than 2 hours depending on the service.
