Where did you find a lunchtime Zumba class?
There is one in the school near us on a Tuesday night, I have been trying to pluck up the courage to go! Let us know how you get on.DJWW - cos we won't let it!0 -
Lunch time zumba in the Flamingo in Ballymena. Starts at 1.10pm, the class is actually Thursday lunchtime not Wednesday (today) as I posted last night. Was a day ahead of myself
I have no idea what it involves except its good for fat burning and is based on salsa style dance.
I found a video of an actual class on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vf0q6qtThF4 looks awesome!!!!!!0 -
This has come at just the right time for me - i am the heaviest i have ever been and could do with a little bit of motivation!
I'd like to lose 2 stone this year - its the big 3-0 and i want to look good for it!0 -
I could also do with some motivation. I was diagnosed with diabetes in October last year having had pre-diabetes for 8 years previously. Low fat and low sugar diet did nothing for me, so I researched after being diagnosed and found the low carb way of eating. I've lost 2 st 7 lbs from the end of October last year and have a long way to go. (Blood sugars are well under control now.) I find it hard to exercise on a regular basis due to health reasons, but when I can I use the Wii for step, jogging, hula hoop and tennis. DD has also just brought a trampoline into the house, so trying a bit of that too. :eek:0

Zumba class yesterday was excellent. Very energetic, I was wiped out after the half hour class!!! It's a real pity that the classes are so massively over subscribed in the evening as I'm back to work next week and won't be able to get a class unless someone drops out.smokiewater wrote: »Where did you find a lunchtime Zumba class?

The Zumba class sounds great! I tried a salsa class once & it was very tiring but I felt great afterwards - I need to work my up to that type of class again I think as I'm sooo unfit! Anyone got a Wii? I'm thinking of starting off with Wii Fit and maybe Wii Dance later on.0
