I'm in as well. Starting weight was I think 12.5 and I've made it to 12 at the minute but would love to lose another stone over the summer. Could do with losing at least 2 though, and ideally 3 - but you have to start somewhere!!0

My mantra from now on......... Portion Control.
Failing that I need a zip and a padlock on my gob!0 -
I did 7.5 mins both today and yesterday on my cross-trainer. That is on top of the minimum 1-hour walking I do each day. Eating is *slightly* better; am trying to drinkm lots of water, also...0

I thought that - I used to drink maybe 5-6 cups of coffee a day, but coming up to detox, cut that way back, so wasn't sucha shock to the sytem when I went to none! I just drank lots of water and just drinking something kept my mind off the coffee. Was tough in the mornings, especialloy due to lack of sleep thanks to a new arrival crying at all hours!
But it was the first time I had ever done a detox or diet and I was so pleasantly surprised that (a) I could do it and (b) that I lost weight it has hopefully inspired me and I can keep it off.Norn Iron Member 3830 -
Still haven't managed to get round to ACTUALLY weighing myself, oooops! It would be a good idea I suppose so I have a baseline idea of what weight I am now.
*mental kick up backside to do it*0 -
I have lost 3/4 lbs myself. Not sure how as I haven't been exactly 'good'. I do think that all the walking I do really does help my case, though.0

I joined slimming world last week. In my first week I have eaten like a horse, been on a night out and still managed to lose a pound
Going to get bum in gear this week to really really try and get more off
How is everyone else getting on???0 -
I'm a stone down
but starting to lose my motivation as my clothes get more comfortable. Good timing for this. Well done on your loss Arkonite.
I'm off on holiday in September so need to knuckle down and lose a bit more before then.

Hi all. I've enjoyed reading this thread and well done to all of you. I was told 12 weeks ago that my name is on a list of employees at risk of redundancy. There's still no final word yet but since then, I've put on 14lbs and I feel just awful. Sluggish and lethargic and everything's an effort. I know all the things I need to do so why can't I just do what it takes? I'm only 5'3" and believe me, there's nowhere to hide an extra stone. In a way, my problems are behind me as it's all gone to my backside  - not pretty, I can tell you!0
