Pocket sprung king-size mattress

I'm looking for a decent pocket sprung king-sized mattress and have a budget of up to about £800. My OH and I are quite different in size so it needs to be one that gives us both equal support.

Our last mattress was bought from Ideas on the Lisburn Road but they've long since closed.

Are there any good independent shops (not chains) where I could go and try out some mattresses at my leisure? I went to Dreams and they were only really interested in selling me what was on special offer. I've heard that King Koil domestic mattresses are good and have always found their hotel mattresses very comfortable.

Are Newry Furniture Centre or Dalzell's in Markethill worth a visit (we're in Belfast)?

I got my mattress from Keens on the Albertbridge Road. Can't remember the specifics but there was no hard sell and no problem trying them out.
