Reeves' ISA review
Will be interesting to see what comes of this. Potentially restricting the amount of cash one can hold in an ISA or reducing the cash ISA allowance to just £4k. I think its important to try demystify some of the (often incorrect) concerns about investing, so that these potential change(s) actually encourage more people to…

Having more than one S&S ISA
I currently have two S&S ISA's with two different providers (Trading 212 and iWeb - majority of money is in iWeb). Is there any benefit to having more than one S&S ISA? I am thinking of consolidating my T212 into iWeb for ease. I don't mean in terms of fees paid etc, just the principle of having more than one S&S ISA.

AJ Bell ISA dealing fees
Given that they charge £1.50 per deal and I’m investing cash monthly, is it more beneficial to swallow the fee and buy monthly, £200 to a single fund (will be £350 from April) or buy every 3/6 months to save fees? I’m guessing that time in the market is more important than saving £1.50 a month?

Problem setting my Trading 212 ISA as a payee
I've just opened the Trading 212 Cash ISA and I'm trying to deposit funds from my Halifax current account. When I use the sort code and account number provided by Trading 212 (for JP Morgan Chase) to set up a new payee in Halifax, Halifax notifies me that the details are incorrect. It does recognise the sort code as for JP…

stocks & shares isa question
Hi, I have a basic stocks & shares isa question. I don't understand how they work. So if I buy shares at £12,000 and they rise to £20,000, so a gain of £8,000 profit, and I put them all in a stocks & shares isa, there's no capital gains tax. How do I then spend the money? If I want to buy a car or go on a holiday or…

ISA reinvestment
I put £20k in an ISA in 2024 which has matured and also another £20k in 2025 both are in 1 year fixed interest rate ISA's, the 2024 one has now matured and reverted to 1.15% which is clearly not good. Can I reinvest this money as its an existing ISA and tax free or will it be classed as next years money. Little frustrating…

MSE News: Don't cut Cash ISA limit, MPs urge Government

In a new report published on Saturday 25 October, the Treasury Committee has urged the Government to leave the £20,000 limit in place – echoing previous calls from MoneySavingExpert.com founder…

Stocks & Shares ISA without shares
With Rachel Reeves changing the ISA limits i have a quick question or two re Stocks & Shares ISAs. I have a Trading 212 Stocks & Shares ISA, with £1000 in cash and £500 in shares. I get approximately 4.05% interest on the cash. Can I bump this up to £20000 (including shares values) and avoid the new £12000 tax limit, or do…

Hello, Please can I seek advise. I currently have maxed out my help to buy ISA, which I set up just before the government ended the scheme when I was a student at university. What is the best UK ETF that tracks the Nasdaq 100?
Ideally a low share price as my broker does not allow fractional shares. My main query is whether to go for synthetic replication or physical? I do like n100 from ishares, and see them as a trusted company. But on the other hand, I do like owning my stocks but could stomach owning a synthetic etf if it means I avoid 15%…

Hi, hoping for some help here please. We have junior cash ISAs for our two daughers, which both have a substantial amount in. Kent Reliance - loss of interest on matured ISA
I had a 1 year fixed ISA with KR, £10k, which matured on 13th November. I received a letter less than a week before that date telling me that unless I gave instructions, they'd put it into another fix (!) I managed to get through on the phone and gave instructions for them to put it into an EA ISA at 3.85%, just to give me…
