Anyone tried a circulation booster machine?
I've been looking at the Revitive website and their circulation boosting machines. (The one endorsed by Ian Botham). Not sure if to take the plunge and buy one (they ain't cheap!). I have restless legs and a touch of arthritis in my feet. My partner has (sometimes) swollen ankles, and arthritis in his feet and knees.…

Lipoma (large lump) removal
Hi all, I've had a large lipoma on my upper back for nearly six years (for anyone who doesn't know what a lipoma is: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/lipoma/) I've put up with it as it doesn't cause me any pain but I've always intended to see about having it removed, which I'm told would have to done privately as it's…

Records for day spent in A & E?
I recently spend a day in A & E where I had a series of tests carried out. Should I get any record of this ?. To date I have had no confirmation of my visit. I have phoned the hospital several times to ask, but only get a pre recorded answerphone and no one phones back. Or will a record go straight to my GP? If so. How can…

Specsavers and their expensive extra options - advice please?
Been using Specsavers for many years now, and while they were once cheap, they're certainly not now - mainly because of the cost of their add-on options. They're masters at confusion marketing - and also upselling by commission-hungry staff. Wife needs varifocals (additional cost £49, £79 or £119, depending on 'quality').…

Hi Unfortunately I have some really bad teeth problems. Fortunately, all of the visible ones when I talk are ok, but either side of my mouth I have missing teeth or a filling. How to get rid of dried red skin patches on kneecaps
Unsure if its ezcema or not as don't get it on any part of the body - just the odd little patch on legs. Had mild cases as a child. Dentist , what a pain
It seems that a new dentist (private) who has given my husband a filling may have exposed the nerve. He's in a lot of pain and the dentist has re xrayed the tooth and said all looks as it should be. She's given hi a course of anti biotics as a precaution saying the tooth should settle but so far it's getting worse. She…

Is a treatment plan legally binding?
Hi there, This may be a stupid question but I want to make sure I'm good. I went for a consultation with a dentist, as I'm looking to get a single implant to replace a missing tooth (it sadly had to be extracted a month ago). For some reason, I was an idiot, and signed the treatment plan to go ahead with it, because I…

Is it safe to take expired allergy tablets?
Hi all. Would it be safe to take allergy tablets containing cetirizine hydrochloride that were expired on 2.2017? I know their effectiveness would certainly be lowered compared to a 'within' date, but the main question is safety. Thanks.

Should I Go Back To Dentist ?
Had a checkup last month and after doing two x-rays was told I have a cavity and he recommended getting a filling, which I had yesterday. After close inspection there is a small brown crack on one of my other teeth ( on the side of it ) , I’m considering going back to get it checked out, however surely if it was a concern…
