Sleep - and TV/devices before bed.
I'm wondering if anyone reading this thread has actually given this a good go and can say what their experience was. I'm wanting to sort out my sleep as to be honest, it's pretty terrible. I know about the advice of no mobiles in bed, the blue light (have that bed time setting turned on on the phone where it yellows the…

Is there a form of in-practice whitening that lasts more than 12 months?
Several local dentists near me mainly offer Philips Zoom. The dentist websites appear to suggest it lasts around 12 months. Are there are forms of whitening that last longer than that, as £400-500 every 12 months or so isn't cheap.

Specsavers varifocals
Got my first pair of varifocals from Vision Express just over 18 months ago. After being warned of an adjustment period for first-timers I was pleasantly surprised to have no disorientation, and very minimal distortion towards the edges of the near and intermediate sections. I've been noticing softer focus in the distance…

One for the Dentists-can a crown with post coming out of gum be dangerous?
Hi, Maybe one of the dentists here would be kind enough to answer this question for me. My partner has had her crown with post come totally out of root three or four times, to be honest both of us are a bit reluctant for her to get it back in again, due to fear of coming out especially in sleep and choking her, just how…

From time to time over the years I've tried different herbal and fruit teas. They smell incredible, then I take a sip and taste nothing except hot water. Nail Polish Gurus?!
Hey everyone, My wife loves painting her nails, I think it's some kind of relaxation thing for her as much as anything else. She uses and swears by Essie, having jumped ship from OPI. All she does is prep her nails somehow, and put it on, but I can see there is a whole host of stuff she could get, but, I don't know of any…

Moisturiser for the 40s
I'm in my early 40s, and up until a couple of years ago could pass as being under 30! I'm very active so also have quite a sporty physique. The parent that goes trampolining or rock climbing with her kids rather than sitting at the side drinking coffee and eating cake type of person! But I hit 42 and something happened. My…
