Hi, I pop on here every few years when something else goes wrong with my teeth. My 2016 "Groupon" implant is still going strong. My ongoing issue is that my molars have had it! Dental Implants - Two systems on one patient. Views?
I have had an implant for a few years and I am quite happy with both the implant performance (camlog) and the practice. Some old dental work on the other side of the mouth needs doing. One option is to avoid reconstruction and go for single implant. However the implantologist has moved on and the practice is now doing…

Dentists say no obvious problem
I had a lower right molar extracted 8 weeks ago. Which left me requiring root removal by a specialist. Whilst waiting for the root removal I was in steady, but bearable pain for 7 weeks from the extraction site. These roots were surgically removed 8 days ago. I am in quite a lot of pain and have been told it could take a…

Is there a form of in-practice whitening that lasts more than 12 months?
Several local dentists near me mainly offer Philips Zoom. The dentist websites appear to suggest it lasts around 12 months. Are there are forms of whitening that last longer than that, as £400-500 every 12 months or so isn't cheap.

Specsavers varifocals
Got my first pair of varifocals from Vision Express just over 18 months ago. After being warned of an adjustment period for first-timers I was pleasantly surprised to have no disorientation, and very minimal distortion towards the edges of the near and intermediate sections. I've been noticing softer focus in the distance…
