Electrical foot file

Can anyone recommend an electric pedicure tool to deal with thick toenails and hard skin?
There are so many on the market it's bamboozling. Especially as a lot of them seem to be lumped in with acrylic nail tools.
I go to the podiatrist for my ingrowing toenail to be dealt with every six months or so, whilst I'm there she removes hard skin and calluses with a dremel type tool. I realise now I should have asked this question last time I was there 😁
Thanks

Personally I've found electronic foot files overrated. The best treatment I've ever had on my feet is a Footlogix pedicure. You can also buy the Footlogix callous spray and footfile online - this has completely transparent my feet.Make £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

I would be concerned about the danger of taking too much skin off with an electronic file.0

I'd be worried if my feet went transparent
How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
I use a Micro-Pedi MAN. It works well, easy to use.
That is a black case.
They also do a pink one called Micro-Pedi LADY, but otherwise the same.
Not sure why footcare has this stereotype applied.
Cheap to buy from a major online retailer.0 -
No chance, they are useless.Pollycat said:I would be concerned about the danger of taking too much skin off with an electronic file.Sally get yourself a footlogix or a Margaret Dabbs foot file (Margaret Dabbs requires refills, the footlogix doesn’t) get some Margaret Dabbs foot hygiene cream.0 -
A reasonable start is to use a Diamond Deb file:

I have the Margaret Dabbs foot file as well, it’s the best thing I’ve ever used. It is more expensive than others but I got it from QVC on special offer, it included foot cream as well. If you are not familiar with QVC you can try everything for 60 days and if you don’t like it send it back for a refund, that includes anything consumable like creams, cosmetics and perfume.Kim_kim said:

Thanks everyone.
I found one on Amazon. A brand called Own Harmony. Rechargeable and replacement heads are apparently available.
So far so good.0
