Asda Delivery passes - unable to extend and Asda will not answer!
We are extremely clinically vulnerable and rely on our weekly shop from Asda. We currently have a good will pass which runs out on 31st January and a regular delivery slot. This cannot be extended and therefore we will loose our delivery slot at the end of January (as I cannot book slots in February and recurring slots…

Tesco groceries delivery to flats
Hi - does anyone know what is Tesco's official policy regarding groceries delivery to flats? I live on the 2nd floor and there is no lift in my building. I've always used Tesco for groceries and they have always brought it upstairs, I've never even had to ask. I pay a midweek delivery plan and I'm pretty sure one of the…

Lidl Flavour of the Week question
Can someone who shops regularly in Lidl tell me how often they feature any given country as flavour of the week? So, for example, it is Italy at the moment. How many times a year will it be Italy? Just once, or every three months or what? Does anyone know?

Unable to complete Asda online orders
Is anyone else having problems with Asda's online shopping system? I am able to book a slot and fill an online shopping basket. But when I click Checkout to pay, an error screen appears. Asda has confirmed the issue is with their systems as they say they are doing a systems upgrade. But it's been over a week now and I'm…

Fixed charge for home shopping deliveries
I have done a little home deliveries and a lot of click and collect. I know some of the supermarkets have ceased the fixed annual deals, but for when things are more normal..... Are there any supermarkets that do an annual charge and then allow smaller deliveries without extra charges? I live alone & I get “hello fresh” &…

Morrisons do you check your invoice
I wonder how many Morrisons online grocery shoppers check the number of bags that appear on their order at checkout (and therefore charged for) against the number used for the delivery. I have found that around 2 out of 3 orders i am being charged for more that being delivered, the latest one to day I received 4 and was…

Cheap Seafood?
With all the trials and tribulations of the UK fishing industry exporting to Europe post Brexit, has anyone seen any good offers for buying some of that seafood in the UK now? It seems that this should be a good opportunity to persuade us Brits to eat more of the excellent fish and shellfish caught here to replace some of…

How does Sainsbury's "pack without bags" work?
I know that with Amazon Fresh/Morrisons, the driver carries all your shopping to your front door in big brown bags. This minimises Covid-19 exposure risk to driver and customer as there's very little interaction. I'm about to do my first Sainsbury's home delivery shop but I'm concerned that it says it's packed without…

Oh, the shame - I forgot to scan one item in Tesco!!
Just got home from the weekly shop, which has latterly taken the form of the scan-as-you-shop facility in Tesco. I love it - everything gets packed in the right bag as you go along, and at the end you just pay and you're on your way. Having said that, I do worry about absentmindedly forgetting to scan something, so I am…
