If you have your shopping delivered, e.g. on a Friday, what do you consider to be a reasonable use-by date for food items? I have been put off recently by short use-by dates but wondered if I am being fussy. In my opinion, I should be able to eke out my food items for the rest of the week, i.e. till next delivery. I know…

In M & S they were selling these chocolate balls on a stick (2 per pack) for about £1.49. You were supposed to stir them into something hot and they melted. Well, today they are down to 20p and date 11/13. Also while I'm here, halloween sweets were 11p on one BP Garage with M & s (hollow chocolate, witches hair, some chewy…

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, however does anyone know when Ocado are opening up their delivery slots for Christmas, i think up until now they have been for smartpass customers only (hopefully!)...

I wonder if you can help. I have a very difficult to buy for Aunt and apparently all she wants is Marks and Spencer Honey that has the honeycomb the bees have made inside the jar. I have looked and can't find it. Is this something they did years ago and she is still hankering after it, or has someone seen one in the shops?…

I Just bought a bottle of Beaujolais Villages from the fine wine section in Waitrose. It was marked up at £20.99 but went through the till at £7.99. I bought two more bottles.:j

I am looking to make a Tiramisu for a dinner event next Friday and would like to use Amaretto in my recipe. I don't really want to spent a lot of money as I won't need more than 75 ml so a 100 ml bottle would be ideal. I wondered if Tesco or M&S may sell them but googling on only regular sized bottles come up.

Candiasoil are running a £2 off promotion on their new lines of luxury olive oils, Peza and Viannos. They normally retail for £6.50 for a 500ml bottle and currently selling for £4.50. Offer ends December 25th. Enjoy!

The everyday value ones, I think it was about 10-12 years ago? they was really cheap and great for big families. Lots if chip making! Does anyone do something similar now?

I've noticed that Asda own-brand white bread, the ones that are normally on offer 2 for £1, don't have ingredients or nutritional information listed on them. Isn't this against the law these days?

they are 74p a box but dont taste that great, it is a box of 6. does anybody know any better value/tasting snack treats?

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has seen any of the boxes for baking a Christmas Cake (most of the ingredients, including pre-soaked, fruit already in the box)? All of the Waitroses near me have sold out and the other supermarkets don't seem to be stocking them this year. I do know you don't need a kit to make them but I like…

Hello, Does anyone know where I can buy the high percentage peach schnapps in the UK? Either instore or online, all I can find is the lighter ones like archers and the copies of it, I want a bottle of the strong German stuff as a gift but no luck yet :( Thanks, J

Hi We have been paying £4.99 for ocado smart pass and this offer has just expired and we have been put up to £6.49 (tues-Thurs only). Has anyone had any recent offers from them? I would like to be forwarned before I ring and haggle. I don't mind paying £6.49 for anytime but not midweek.

I could not believe the price of Tesco's Chicken Breast portions yesterday, a pack of 4 was over £8.00 and the per kilo price was £12.50. Popped round the corner to Lidl £3.95 per pack £7.35 per kilo. Looks like Mt T is taking the p***.

Ok, so I had an idea my shopping wouldn't turn up today, after not receiving any contact from ASDA and checking my bank to find the money has still been taken, I rung the CS number, to be told that Leeds weren't delivering today and that they will get someone to ring me, when I asked for the number to ring them myself they…

Has anyone else been invited to the Krispy Kreme VIP night? Has anyone been to one before? I'm just wondering what to expect.
