Milk price increase - why?
The price of milk has gone up by 20p for 2L anybody know why? I was trying to buy organic milk from Waitrose which was about £1.65 6 months ago and then it went up to £1.75 or 8 I can't remember but it is now £1.98. that's quite a significant jump - and increase in profits no doubt. So now I've gone back to buying the…

Cheapest caddy liners?
Are Wilkinsons the cheapest? They are about £2.50 for 24. Are any national chains cheaper? They seem really expensive for such tiny things.

birds eye buy 3 products get a free plate
Saw this in sainsburys today: if you buy 3 products and swipe your nectar card at the checkout you get a voucher to claim a free plate online. The plates have the polar bear on but I couldn't quite make out the writing on them, seems like a nursery rhyme or something. The cheapest product I could find was 4 fishcakes for…

Delivery charges for Ocado higher on one account after smart pass trial
Hello I am a bit miffed that Ocado seem to have hiked up my delivery charges after having had a smart pass trial. I wanted to find out if this is something other people have found. My smart pass trial ended and I decided not to buy one as I have my shopping mid-week and used to be able to get 99p or free slots. However…

Asda cake decorating bargains
Asda seem to be having a clear out of cup cake decorating items. I got bum cases pack of 50 for 20p and lots of different glitters and chocolate balls (50g pots) all at 10p per pot. These were asda own make. Maybe useful for the macmillan coffee mornings this week for bakers. I also spotted a clear out of sun tan lotions…

Coffee Beans?
I'm seeing some deals for coffee beans online, but with living in Northern Ireland, what I save on purchase, I gain on P&P. Anyone got any deals for quality coffee beans in stores, or from specialists? Preferably with low-price P&P to Northern Ireland. Thanks.

Haven't had time to go on the site for a while so hopefully I have posted this correctly! Both big Tesco's in Reading are selling a couple of Ella's Kitchen products at bargain prices (NOT on sale, standard shelf prices and have been for a couple of weeks) - I looked on their website and neither are on there any more so…

Money saving tip
This applies to Shopping at ASDA; using the self-service machines Doesn't work at TESCO = single slot payment machines. STOP using the coin banks = machines that take a charge out of converting all your small change in to higher denominations. ASDA self service machines have similar pour-in coin trays. Don't pay to change…

Hi all, Not sure if this belongs here or on the food shopping and groceries board, but thought I would get more views and quicker response here. Not sure if everyone has seen the cashback offers for Halifax customers (thread here - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4770581) But I have an offer for 20% off a…

Good value peanut butter?
Any recommendations for a cheap but tasty peanut butter. We like smooth and crunchy. We had been buying Kernel King from B&M bargains at 59p for 340g jar which was incredible value but they don't seem to have it anymore. Tried the Aldii smooth one this week but it's not very nice at all.

Aldi - surely this cannot be right??
In my local Aldi today were grapes for sale - yummy. 500g seedless green £1.39, 500g seedless red £1.39. To my delight they had mixed 500g boxes of green and red and a quick check of the price before I placed them in my trolley showed that the mixed grapes were £1.89 for 500g. I accept that the amount of time packing the…
