Fruit and vegetable offers

Would anyone else find it helpful to have a thread with just fruit and vegetable offers all in one place? Aldi have their fortnightly offers and Morrisons and Asda pop up with the odd good offer.

Super six at Aldi from Thursday 26th will be

Fun size apples
Fun size pears
Plums
Pineapple
Chestnut mushrooms
Salad potatoes

All priced at 69p

Asda
Peppers 3 for £1
Asda smart price grapes 500g for £1

there's already a long running Aldi Super 6 thread here so that would just be duplication.

Other offers at supermarkets are too transient to warrant a thread specifically for these, it would very quickly be out of date, so I don't think it's a good idea.

I thought Aldi Super 6 offer changed every week? All other supermarket veg offers last at least a week, so why exclude them?

I think it is a great idea, so let's carry on with it.

If you don't like it then you don't actually need to read it, do you?

we do already have an Aldi fruit/veg thread so it would be best not to duplicate that, thanks.

(The Aldi offers don't change every week, it's at least two weeks, might be longer now they've changed the format a little.)

It wouldn't be duplicating the aldi thread, it would be a thread about fruit and veg offers from all supermarkets, which includes aldi.

I think it's a good idea.

Aldi isnt the only place that sells fruit and veg, so why defer this thread to that one?

Morrisons have some good fruit offers on at the moment. I got some apples (RG), Black grapes, Pears, Peaches and Nectarines all for £1 each on Friday.

Fruit and veg are the only things I buy regularly so it would really help me with my meal planning and shopping to have all the offers in one place.

Hah, this is EXACTLY what I am on here looking for.

I am following a fresh fruit and vegetable juicing plan (35lbs in 10 weeks people) so I would love to know where to buy the best and cheapest carrots, apples, cabbage, oranges, kale, peaches, the lot actually

Iceland are currently doing Granny Smith apples. 7 for £1. Best price by a long chalk. Why are apples dearer than frozen chips?

Another vote for a fruit and veg thread covering all stores, including Aldi. It makes sense to have everything on one thread.
