what is the price of question

Thought I would start a thread for people like me, who don't shop on a regular basis in the likes of Lidl and farmfoods etc, But now and again would like to know the prices of certain things.. but cant find the prices on the comparison sites...



I am doing my shopping list, and want to stock up on onions as I want to do a load of batch cooking tomorrow, and I need a load of onions and other bits, so I am doing shopping lists for various shops..


So today I was wondering if anyone knew the price of onions in farmfoods, and in Lidl


Hope it was ok to start this thread, rather than keep on clogging up the board, with asking for prices etc

I know this wasn't exactly what you asked but Aldi onions were 69p per kg yesterday so Lidl probably similar.

I think the best value is Asda Smart price at 49p per kg in 2Kg bags so if you have that option then maybe it's worth a trip.
