Cheap carrots anyone??

I was in our local agricultural store at the weekend and they had carrots on sale for horsey people.
12.5 kg of washed carrots in a net bag for £3! I was sorely tempted, I imagine carrots process and freeze really well. In fact I might go back and see if they still have some next week

In a nearby racing town I buy £1.50 sacks of carrots, for neighbour's bunnies, from trainer's stables. Tuesdays and Fridays. Potatoes and parsnips are often available too, always look v.g.
