I went to Morrisons today and they have sliced beef in their salad bar! Nothing stopping you from filling up your tub with beef. It works out cheaper than buying it at the deli counter! It tastes really good too :money:
I feel like such a cheapskate now though :rotfl:

I wonder whether they needed to get rid of it and thought they'd get more putting it on the salad bar rather than in YS.
Interesting to see if it appears again.0 -

This was my thought too. I have often pointed out the absence of meat in the salad bar for example chicken free spice chicken pasta. They often oblige and add some chicken to my pot but do they actually put it in in the first place or do people fish it out?0 -
They've done it for a while in my local morrisons, only ever beef so I don't think it's a method of using it up.
I add a slice to my salad but I guess you could fill the tub with it, hadn't occurred to me.0 -
I cannot think of any salad that cannot be improved by the addition of some beef.If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?

I buy the large tub from the salad bar every week,I think its great value,I fill the centre area with their hard boiled free range eggs(can fit 14 in)then top it with curried rice, then I fill another section with the feta cheese couscous, lots of chicken in the pasta.we use it as fillings for packed lunches through the week.0

How much beef could you put in it? (grams)
And how much would it cost?

People cough and spit over the salad bar and put their grubby hands in it. Yuck.
Same with the loose bread rolls. People pick them up with their bare hands, inspect them, see a crumb out of place and put them back.0 -
Do you really not think the do that in every other eating place!
I hate people talking while they are slicing my meat or serving my meal but no point being fanatical or you wouldn't eat anything lol0 -
