Food shopping & groceries

On 25th June at my local Co-op I saw the 3 for 2 deals (cheapest item free) on toiletries and bought 3 Shave Gel @ £1.49, 3 Colgate toothpaste (1 x £3.09, 2 X £3.90) and 3 Vaseline Lotion @ £3.29. My savings were calculated at 3x £1.49. I anticipated savings of 1x £1.49, 1x £3.09 and 1x £3.29, which is what I would have…

Seems to to be a problem with Aldi's payment system at the moment, charging you twice for your shopping. This happened at the Camelon store in scotland but customer service think this problem may be nationwide.so if you have shopped there recently check your bank statements. scott

Hi All. I've not really tried any of the Everyday Essentials range at Aldi yet as I guess I'm just very happy with the "normal" stuff and think they're generally incredibly cheap anyway for such good quality that I've never felt the need to "downgrade". However, I've recently been looking for some new jam to try. I hate…

Anyone else having difficulty accessing Tesco online, tried three browsers, IE, Firefox, and Chrome (via our Tesco Hudl) this morning and none will connect?

Hi all, my first post in this bit, hope it's the right sort of deal. I just bought several punnets of these in my local Sainsbury store (Norwich). They are supposed to be £2 each but are today's manager's choice and so are 69p. As an added bonus they are from local farms (to me anyway!) so that's an even better reason to…

The only ones I can find around here contain either pig or beef gelatin. Do vegetarian ones exist, and if so where can I get them? T.I.A.

I think that this might be store specific but if you see any reduced strawberries (the ones I got were 20p a punnet) you still get the 150ml of single and double cream with it for free.:T

Poundstretcher. Maxi brand chopped tomatoes. 400g (260g drained) tin. 20p. ASDA were doing the same ones recently for 4 for £1.

For the last 2 or 3 shops I've noticed My Supermarket dropping items off the shopping basket when it transfers to the chosen supermarket. Unfortunately I didn't spot this until my shopping was delivered leaving me short on certain items. The only way round this is to transfer items over manually. :(

I need some of this but I'm not sure where I can buy it either buy the sheet or the roll. Anyone?

I was just wondering which own brands version of Innocent's Mango & Passion fruit Smoothie everyone thinks is the best? Asda do one, Morrisons etc for a fraction of the price of Innocent's version so just wondered if there is a chance to save some pennies?

Decided to try splitting my shopping into "expensive/normal priced" and "special offer/cheaper" to make the most of the Tesco Price Promise. By splitting cheaper items would not offset the more expensive ones IFSWIM. Expensive side resulted in Price Promise refund for next shop but cheaper side did too! I did use coupons…

Hi, has anyone received their May vouchers from Tesco yet? I thought I would have received mine by now.
