Food shopping & groceries

Tesco Groceries home page slide show has an offer of £12 off ones first delivery, provided at least £60 is spent, valid until 28th August 2014. http://www.tesco.com/groceries/ For me Google <"first online grocery shop" site:tesco.com> returns the above offer as well as a similar one with £15 off valid until 30th September…

Bought one yesterday. Absolute bargain for £5. Had it for lunch today, there was enough for tomorrows lunch too, and I will make a soup from the carcass! That's moneysaving!:j:j:j

Lidl uses confusing different best before codes on pre packaged fresh produce. Some have the date clearly visible showing the day and the month and some not and some showing the week number. Trading standards talk about 'appropriate date mark' I think that the use of week number with no Best Before wording is deliberately…

Anyone know?

If you have had a shop delivered from Te4co this weekend then worth checking your delivery note. My shop today included a few promotions and although items that were discounted in price were correct, the items that were BOGOF or 2 for £2 were not. I've checked the offers and all were still valid so I am not sure why the…

I have a large bag of spuds to use, plus a glut of parsley so thought I'd have a go at a fish pie. I saw Sainsburys have a frozen fish pie mix from their Basics range, was just wondering whether anyone has tried it and if it's any good?…

Asda Colours washing powder has now been discontinued and is going thru now for £1 a packet.:)

Hi, I'm trying to buy a 6 month delivery saver for tesco with my clubcard vouchers. Because it's a boost, clubcard vouchers double up so £9 of vouchers will get me a 6 month midweek plan (worth £18) as I understand it. But on the clubcard boost deliverysaver webpage, when I type in 9 and click add to basket it comes up…

Hi, never ordered groceries online before but decided to, with £15 off from Sainsburys. Anyway, I finished the order and gave them my debit card details obviously. I later decided to change my order, which involves you having to press "checkout" again. Weird I know. I then had to enter my bank password again (it remembered…

Clearance line in Asda, 10 capsules for 75p, previously £3.

Just noticed this offer when I was doing my online shop with Tesco. There was also another flavor to choose from, apple and cinnamon I think.

I bought a pack of mutton & Lamb. The price ticket said: £5.00 per Kilo. Pack price: £2.50. (thinks ..... pack MUST be 500 gms) I then found out, including pack, it weighed (and said on it) weight : 400 grams. Where's my meat, and also is this not illegal to price up, and sell incorrect weight? Grrrrrrrr !!!!

Any Waitrose staff know if the July waitrose kitchen is still in store? I get it every month and have somehow forgotten this month. I know it changes month around now. Just wondering if it's worth a trip tonight or tomorrow. Thanks :)

Hi guys I'm looking for a specific biscuit, which I cannot seem to find anywhere, despite having been looking for it for years. There used to be a product from Fox's Biscuits. It had a yellow packet, and I'm pretty sure they were ginger biscuits. I'm not certain they were ginger "flavoured" though. The actual biscuit was…

Hopefully this is the right place. Can anyone recommended a cheap pack of beer/lager in bottles. (bottles work easier than cans at a party, no glasses required!) I don't drink the stuff, but need around 100 or so bottles for a summer party in 2 weeks. Figured cold lager would go down well. Pricing up Budweiser, Becks and…
