Asda roast in the bag chicken

Bought one yesterday. Absolute bargain for £5. Had it for lunch today, there was enough for tomorrows lunch too, and I will make a soup from the carcass! That's moneysaving!:j:j:j

What sort of ignition and fuel does it use? Do you need an outdoors space to use it?

??? It's a chicken! It's not rocket science. You roast it in the oven;)

I've had several pre-cooked and cook-in-the-bag chickens from Asda over the past year or two and all of them were absolutely horrible. Only the breasts were edible. You can get a beautiful free-range 1.5kg (uncooked) chicken from Aldi for the same price. I won't ever be buying chicken from Asda again, that's for sure.

    Sorry, but...."ignition"? "Fuel"?

    "Outdoor space"?

Have you been reading with someone else's glasses on again?

Well, I have to speak as I find, and this one was delicious. Will be buying again.

They are lovely tasting and nice and moist but they are not necessarily money saving @ £3.12 a kilo.

Well, bearing in mind that we get four meals and a whole lot of soup and there is less mess to clear up, I think it's extremely moneysaving:T

Solar powered, just leave it on the windowsill for a couple of hours.

They are nice but i buy fresh ones from Aldi for a fiver. Bigger than the Asda ones. I get 3 meals from one chicken, plus the stock.

How hard is it to cook a fresh chicken without a bag ? Just cover it in foil, no mess.
