Balance Transfers
Hi all I'm new to being a Credit Card Tart, and would like to know when the best time to apply for a balance transfer is. Is it AFTER I've received my next credit card statement, and do I have to inform them how much the transfer is for? I'd be grateful for any advice.

Lloyds TSB Platinum Payment Credit Date CHANGE
I received an important change to the Lloyds TSB Platinum Credit Card I've had for years: "A payment will now be shown on your account on the day that it clears and not the day it is received."
