Carers Allowance deduction from Universal Credit?

Universal Credit - is removing appointee wise
Hi, I'm an appointee for my son who's on UC and DLA and has been for over 5 years (ASD). Except for the fact that I've never been officially appointed according to the UC who have just telephoned. Will this be unearned income or savings?
I'm getting a payout from an insurance policy as I have cancer. I'll be getting a lump sum and know that the money i get paid on top of this every month is classed as unearned income. RSU has messed up my UC claim
At my place of work, in 2021 we were all given restrictive share units as a sort of incentive to stay working there. In March they vested and were avaliable. They have taken the amount put it through PAYE and it has been deducted through my universal credit. I am trying to dispute this but dont really know where I stand.

Salary sacrifice...income levels & Carers allowance
Hello all, I'm a full time carer for my better half who has a longterm terminal condition, similar to MND.
