BBC Strategic review- do you pay your license fee?
If you pay your license fee then you need to make sure they hear your views at the bbc trust. There is a questionnaire for you to complete. I have an axe to grind, I personally love 6 music and they are threatening to close it. That said, it doesn't really matter what your views are you need to make them heard. Don't let…

Leaving Sky will dish still work as aerial?
Hi, We've been with Sky for nearly a year and had a phone call saying we now have to pay £8.90 a month for insurance if something were to go wrong with box or dish. Also our free HD will end, another £10 a month. We also have phone and broadband so will be paying nearly £50 a month which I feel is a bit steep. If we were…

Sky freezing/Problems
I have had my sky+ box for over a year now. It was fine at first but it has been a few months since quite a lot of the channels have freezing sound and sometimes the SKY has a spaz attack, and it dies (switches off and won't turn back on like its in a strop) and I have to unplug it and un-unplug it (apologies, lol), and it…

Am I right in…

We don't want to have a tv hooked up to the outside world, but we would like to have one without an aerial or anything that we can use with the dvd player to watch movies occassionally. Do we need a tv licence just to own the tvv (ie would it be too hard to prove we werent using it?). Its not really the cost so much just…

Digital Tv suitable for Elderly
Has anyone found a digital TV suitable for the elderly - that is with large buttons on the front of the set. My Mum can not use a remote and has arthritis and dementia. Mum's old set had clear big buttons on it to change channels and volume and this seems impossible to find. A digital box is unsuitable because it would be…

Cancelling Sky TV on Sky website
I read that it was possible to cancel Sky TV on their website, but when I tried to do this I ended up on a page where you have to send an e-mail to their cancellation team. I done that and the website said there would be a reply within 24 hours, but I have heard nothing from them. The contract was actually my mum's who had…
