Hi
Going to be getting my first house soon.
Been looking at Sky and was hoping to get the basic package of 1 mix.
Then when the football season is on and my team Blackburn are on sky sports 1 or ESPN just to sign up for that month.
I'm sure this is possible and believe Sky Sports 1 is £9 extra and ESPN £12.
Am I right in assuming I have to keep the channel for one month min before I can cancel it again?

I am pretty sure you can only do that with ESPN. Sky Sports has a minimum contract length (possibly even 12 months).
Happy to be corrected though.
Mind you - I didn't know you could subscribe to individual sports channels now (rather than all of them in a bundle) so what do I know£9pm for SS1 doesn't sound too bad - I think they put all (or at least 95%) of their Premier League football on that channel but I think the Champions League stuff goes on SS2.

AdamBrunt is correct, you have to sign up for Sky Sports for 12 months.
What is ESPN pleasemake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
ESPN is (or rather was ... I haven't had ESPN since Christmas) just 1 month.0

I thought with minimum contracts with sky you got a 30 day cooling off period to see if you wanted it for 12 months. So you could sign up and simply cancel after Blackburn had played or on day 29.0
