Currently have a basic sky box with basic package but would like HD in another room for the World Cup. Would it be possible for me to order a Sky HD box with multi-room but with no HD sub and still be able to watch bbc HD and itv HD for the World Cup?

Why not, instead, yourself run another feed from your dish to the second room in which you want to watch it and then buy a FreeSat HD box?
For a one-off purchase you'll get free HD television in there forever. :money:
Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:
As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

I have considered freesat but I probably will subscribe to Sky Sports next season which you can't get on freesat. Just looking to save a bit on the HD sub in the meantime if that's possible.0

OP has started he has a standard Sky box so it's unlikely he has a second feed from the LNB so he'll need to purchase a Quad LNB to replace the existing one.0
