sky multiroom queries

I already have sky+. I am thinking of getting a sky+ hd box with multiroom. What would happen if I wanted to cancel the multiroom sub sometime in the future i.e. end the sky+ but keep sky hd? Will it be as simple as the £10 multiroom charge ends? Also do I get to keep the sky+ box in case I wish to rejoin multiroom in the future? I have had my sky+ box for about 5 yrs

After the 12 months is up you can give 30 days notice to cancel.

Yes - the £10 charge would end. You keep the box whcih would be capable of receiving FTA and FTV channels but Sky+ recording features would not work.

Unless you pay Sky £10 a month to keep this feature active, which kinda defeats the object..
