How much are you paying Sky?

Options
Just wondering as everyone I speak to seem to pay different prices even when on the same deals and offers...

For us it is £64.50pm. That's for-

SkyWorld every chan HD (free)
Everyday internet £5
Sky Talk £0
Sky Line rental £11

We were paying £10 for HD but that was when we were on a 25% discount, but that ended last week, so after a bit of complaining they chucked the £10 HD monthly fee. So anyone who couldn't get the free HD box, installation and mix, don't give up. Ring and they may do you a deal. I expected them to tell me to do one as I'm under contract again but they got rid.

Since having HD installed we rarely watch any other channels. Its a great picture and even better now its free

I have just moved into my first owned house and will be setup with Sky HD by Saturday, full package with movies and sports with HD pack for the sum of £24.25 a month for 12 months.

Friends and family deal from sombody I know that works at Sky for new customers.

Paying Sky £19.50 per month. Currently, one month into a revived 12-month contract.

    Breakdown:

£9.50 per month for 2 ordinary "Packs" (deal was half-price for 12 months).
    +
    £10.00 per month for HD.

Not Internet (no Sky LLU at local exchange).
Not telephone (would lose flexibility to change ISPs if we moved from BT).

Not interested in sport and prefer to rent 1080p Blu-rays from LoveFilm by mail.

Intending to cancel at end of contract. Only did deal in order to get free HD box and (second) dish with installation for £60.

Total cost for year is thus £294. Have FreeSat already but a (second) Humax FoxSat-HDR FreeSat HD box would cost £250 and they can't receive (de-crypt) Channel 4 HD.

On 8 mbps ADSLmax broadband from PlusNet at £12 per month (80 GB per month – free from midnight to 8:00 am). Best option, hereabouts.

Use 18185 or mobile 'phone allowance to make outgoing calls during the week. :)

Don't laugh at banana republics. :rotfl:

As a result of how you voted in the last three General Elections,
you'd now be better off living in one.

    Too much

£63.50 per month. Sky World @ £48.50 plus HD @ £10 plus Multiroom @ £5 per month (half price for 12 months).

HD is fabulous for sport and movies, so Sky have me locked in.

Sky is a luxury and an expensive one at that, but I can't bring myself to cancel it!
