Desktop pc has died
My desktop pc has been acting a bit weird for a while and has now died. It was left running yesterday afternoon, but when I went to go on it later, the on screen message said to check connections. Disk cleanup
Whenever I do a disk cleanup I always just leave the automatically selected options ticked as I don’t know whether I should select the others. I’ve read what each item is by clicking on them, but it doesn’t really mean anything to me. On previous computers it used to say whether or not it’s safe to delete the files, but on…

LED Torches ?
Wondering if anyone can recommend a decent LED torch that doesn't break the bank, please. I'm after a reliable one that would be small enough to carry in a rucksack or keep in the car glovebox. I've bought a few cheapo torches in that past that have suffered with dicky connections and crappy switches so I'm not clear how…

Amazon Fire HD8 poor battery life
I bought my Mum a Amazon Fire HD8 tablet a couple of weeks ago. However, the battery life seems very short. Even if it's in "standby" mode it barely lasts a day. Yesterday I took it off charge (showing 100%) at about 3pm. I'd used it to watch a film for about an hour then left it overnight. This morning the battery was…
