I used to use the yellow button to hide unwanted channels from the channel guide. Since the last software upgrade the yellow button no longer works. Is there an alternate way to hide channels?

No. Sorry but latest update on TT gives you back that option.0

I hid some channels last night that had popped up over the last few weeks.
I have a BT YouView box.
Go into the program guide.
The Yellow button is marked Edit Channels and lists all the visible channels. Find the ones you want to hide, highlight with the arrow keys then press OK to hide or un-hide.One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -

BT box update dropped the yellow button edit channels a few updates back .back again ??

Just had a look at my BT box;
Component Software 3.3.36
Manufacturer 29.16.0
Platform 4033
I asked it to check for updates and it tells me I'm using the latest version. However, my box is a few years old so newer boxes might support newer software versions?
I have no idea..........One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
My box is on auto-update, did manual update today and no change>
Software 3.2.62 (4a3c25)
Manufacturer 28.26.0
Humax DTRT2100
Variant 84B08500
Yellow button has not worked for several months. I assumed it was a glitch which would be rectified at next update."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Agree current software yellow button does not work .
Well posted (why can i not edit channels) on the BT users forum for months .0 -
Indeed I'm cancelling my BT contract at end of term sick of all these !!!! advertising channels getting in the way - just want easy menu access to the dozen channels I usually watch
Perhaps I'm being cynical but I think it was a delibertae act requested by these channels0
