Hi Guys, can I use google drive on my I-pad?
I had it on my laptop, which is kaput, and, all pics and docs are stored on google drive!
Just wondered, if I can connect to GD and retrieve them?

Yes, you can. There is a Google Drive app in the Apple App Store. I use it and it works well.

Or just search gdrive in a browser and login!

Google Photo and Google Drive is what you need, you can download local copies.

I find the app isn't too bad to work with although the experience isn't quite as good as it is on a desktop

Just wish they would add the Face recognition to Google Photos like we used to have in Picassa

I understand it is available in some other countries but not the UK for some reason

Facial recognition is already here in the UK. I use it daily on my android phone
