Windows 10 is using your bandwith
This is just a quick message to those using Windows 10. Microsoft made it free and readily available however since their servers would struggle to cope with such huge traffic, they came up with a way to make things smoother. In your settings the default option is to allow peer to peer sharing, almost like torrents. This is…

Does Win 10 upgrade need you to key in a product key?
Does the Windows 10 free upgrade from Win 7 require you to key in any sort of password or registration code? If so, is it obvious what is being asked for (eg at the start does it say "write down this number, you'll need it later)? I'm a bit concerned that my elderly father may have fallen for a scam.

Windows 10 email virus
Just thought I would give everyone the heads up. Was on Bleeping Computer and there is an email going around pretending to be from Microsoft to download Windows 10. It is an attachement which contains the Cryptolocker virus instead. So just to make people aware. I think my Dad has had it. But he has just deleted it.
