How to name mobiles in car bluetooth

Hi all, I just bought a Ford Focus that has bluetooth and my son and I connected our 2 windows 8 phones without much trouble. But on the car display it shows both phones are named as Window phone. How can we personialise the name to say Dads phone and Sons phone (just for an example) so we can tell them apart.

I know this can be done because there were 5 other named phones from the previous owner in the setting when we got the car (its a 3 year old car) and we debonded them to cancel them from the display. So I know this is doable. I have read carfully the manual but this is renaming each phone is not mentioned.

I don't need a step by step explanation as I know to write these are time consuming just a push in the right dorection and I will enjoy trying to get it to work.......thanks in advance for any help offered.

The stereo lists the phones Bluetooth ID. You need to go into the Bluetooth section of each phone and change the phones name. You probably need to de-link and re-link them to the radio for the changes to show.
