CEX no grading next to item?

What does it mean if an item for sale on CEX has no A, B or C grading next to it? I've emailed and asked but no reply from cex. About half the items I've looked at (PVR's) have no grading.

It means the label fell off or they have not graded it, Ask what grade it is?

With a PVR you need to expect them to fail anyway. Unless they have got better these days. They used to fail way too often.

It's online not instore. Web site says all items are graded with the letter appearing next to item but at least half the items I'm looking at have no grading. Still waiting for CEX to answer my enquiry so can't order what I want.

Well, ignored the non graded and purchased a B grade. What a waste of time, it arrived today with only one cable (an HDMI) so can't even be switched on! According to web site B should include 'essential accessories' yet nothing else was included, no other cabling, no guide book, nothing! I've contacted web site but it says 3-5 day response, does anyone know if I can go into my local shop to complain about it or are web purchases solely dealt with online? (don't want a wasted journey as its a way to travel) Definitely will not be using CEX again.
  • I don't think you can return to store. They don't write it on their website but they talk about postal returns only :(

I'd put the link but I can't post links as yet because I'm still new.

This is the relevant bit of website:

Thank you. Have already emailed a complaint but will have a look at the return page too. Don't know how many complaints they have but it gives a 3-5 day response time!
