Upgrading to Windows 10

If you are a home user and considering upgrading your Windows 7/8/8.1 Computer to Microsoft's new Windows 10, I would ask that you take care in doing so. Although your device may be compatible with the new operating system, it may be that certain other pieces of equipment, within your machine aren't. The new system is very young and although it has gone through a lot of stages, to reach the kind of distribution, that's happening, you may find that it's not so easy and straight-forward as it looks. I would advise caution and if you're not sure, get advice from your local professionals etc.

Would that be you?0 -
Am sticking with 7 up until its no longer practical. I did vow after Vista & XP that Win7 will be the final Microsoft OS I will be dealing with if they decide I need to update again. Once Win7 becomes as obsolete as XP, I will be swapping to Apple.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

You'd have been better off posting that in a Windows 10 thread instead of this SPAM one.....Just saying....;)Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

OP is correct.
Why, only today I tried to upgrade my microwave oven, musical doorbell and the childrens' 'Simon Says' to Windows 10. Epic fail. Shame on you, Microsoft!0 -
Do you think it will work on a HP TouchPad? Plus I have an old phone that's on WinMo 2003, I'm sure that'll upgrade just fine
Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0
