Is Win-Zip Driver Updater my sole choice?
Hi All, I'm using Windows 7; 64 bit; IE11 on a laptop which is 2+ years old and Win-Zip Driver Updater pop-ups say I need 20+ driver updates. Had no problem with that until I read the small print that the new drivers would need replacing in 12 months' time. I cannot afford this recurring expense but am not really able to…

Which RAM for laptop?
I decided to have a go at adding some more memory to my laptop, see if it speeds it up at all. My habit of having 2 browser windows, and up to 30 tabs open at a time probably doesn't help. Here's the result of a Crucial scan, which hopefully gives enough information about the laptop.…

If you use Google Chrome, do you have to enable extensions each time you log on?. I do and it seems I'm not the only one because after googling, it is surprising how many others find this is part of their daily ritual. Who sees what?
I must admit I was amazed at the Snowden revelations in regard to the extent of government snooping on its citizens and what the costs of that might be. In personal terms I'm not overly worried as I doubt they'd be especially interested in me. That said having just come across a free VPN service that seems to run at a…
