bank statement csv files use in google sheets

Please can someone let me have a step by step instruction on how to produce a PDF using Google Sheets from the CSV file provided on bank account websites in the Lloyds banking group. This includes Halifax and Bank of Scotland. TSB seem to also produce these CSV files. For some reason unlike the Halifax Credit Card a PDF is not produced on the Bank's website.

    It's worth explaining why you need pdf.

    There are many websites doing this - just google for 'csv to pdf'.
  • OK I'll try that.
    Thanks for reply.

    in Google sheets you have the ability to save / download as a PDF file.

    Go to "File" then "Download as..."
    and select "PDF Document (.pdf)"
    Laters

    Install a PDF "printer" like FreePDF and print your statement into a PDF. That's how I do it with TSB.

    None that you'd want to upload a bank statement to. Nor to Google.

    CSV = Coma Separated Values.
    I have never seen it for banks, but I can guess it's just transactions for importing to Excel (or other accounting software) - without any sensitive information and hardly acceptable as a proof of anything.

    That's why I asked what the OP wanted this in pdf format for in the first place.

    Yes I can get bank transactions CSV - as you say it's very useful for importing to Excel and for instance working out average spending per year on various categories.

    I'm also interested in the reason for wanting a PDF? Generally CSV data isn't something you'd convert to PDF.

    Bear in mind converting .CSV to .PDF will not magically produce a bank statement that you will get through the post. Imagine if you will printing out your .CSV and then laminating it that is what a .PDF converter will do for you. I bank with Santander and they give me the option of either .CSV or .PDF.
